Mark Duncan
CEO / Founder
I started full time in my journey in real estate investing in 2016. I have been self-employed over 25 years and enjoy meeting and talking with people from all backgrounds. I worked in commercial and industrial real estate many years ago. I have always been involved in real estate in one form or another.
I was a soldier in the Army. I worked in the Military Intelligence field as a cryptologist. I then attended Officer Candidate School and became an officer. After my active military duty, I remained an officer in the Oregon Army National Guard. During this time, I started a career in the insurance field as an Insurance Agency owner with Allstate Insurance. My time in the insurance and financial field lasted 20 years. That is where I am today. I dove in head first into the world of real estate investing. I am enjoying every minute.
In addition to my work in real estate, I have coached high school football and track for 30 years. I am presently a high school track coach in the Portland area. I really enjoy the competition and working with kids. I have been married to my wife Samantha since 1992. We both love to travel and spending time with our retired racing greyhound, Newman.
I have loved working with people for a very long time, and first became a caregiver 11 years ago. I have always had a passion for helping others, and a love affair with real estate. After spending time as a sales and marketing director, I obtained my real estate license several years ago. I now get to be involved with the two things that I am most passionate about. My favorite quote, and one I live by, “If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
